Artlink’s audience development projects provide opportunities for people to recount arts events; to make personal interpretations and connections. These were shared through writing projects Postcard Reviews and Let Loose. The projects are about actively taking part; not access but opportunities to recreate artworks.
Postcard Reviews and Let Loose acknowlege the ways we respond individually to art whilst providing opportunities for discussion. This relates to recent research into socially engaged practice and the ways it brings about change: “Engagement with art rewards by providing something never experienced before and the means to relate it to one’s own experience and that of others.”
