Promoting Change

Public reading of Pandora's Light Box

Public reading of Pandora’s Light Box

A public reading of Pandora’s Light Box attracted a broad audience and opened discussion about the gallery space and diverse experiences of it; the Postcard Reviews blog received over 2000 visits and led to improvements to access outwith the intentions of the project. Both Postcard Reviews and Pandora’s Light Box provide creative ways to share and connect with experiences through the arts.  Perhaps the projects have been successful in raising awareness about access by providing new experiences and perspectives.   The projects are not about promoting an agenda of specific change, or providing solutions but “working with the acknowlegement of the ability for every individual touched by the work to think in new ways.” (Quote taken from the Harrison Studio, work that seeks to make change and open discussion around envoronmental concerns)
